WerQfest returns for our fourth annual event! This year will feature a headlining performance by national recording artist, Durand Benarr, a special performance by RuPaul Drag Race Season 12 Winner, Jaida Essence Hall, and a host of thrilling performances by St. Louis Black LGBTQIA+ artists.

Two “WerQ Awards” will be presented in recognition of dedication, innovation, and visionary contributions to the artistic and overall Black queer community in St. Louis, a vendor market featuring Black and brown-led businesses— curated by ForTheCultureSTL. Our 2023 Merch collection will benefit an organization working to provide resources for underserved and Black communities, especially LGBTQ+.

WerQfest is an arts and culture festival highlighting the black queer, trans and non-binary community. Our mission is to use the power of arts & entertainment to create safe spaces & amplify artists, organizations, and voices within the Black queer community.
