Show: 7:00 pm / Doors: 6:00 pm
Former MIZ-ZOU alum Katie Novotny returns to St. Louis to film her debut 30-minute comedy special as part of Flyover Comedy Festival 2025. With the self-deprecating humor of a Midwestern tomboy, Katie dives into her dad’s love of Fox News, her spectacularly bad dating life, and the awkward reality that she’s too scared to talk about sex — mainly because she rarely has it. Running through her set is the guilt of a Catholic school girl, and she’s already feeling bad for that joke that made you slightly uncomfortable (also, did you have enough to drink? Is your chair comfy? Need a blanket?).
Named “Best of Fest” at SLO Comedy Festival and an official artist at Limestone, Boom Chicago (Amsterdam), HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, Red Clay, and more, Katie trained in improv and sketch comedy at Second City and iO Chicago, produced two award-winning webseries, and had her pilot scripts recognized as semifinalists in Slamdance and Screencraft.
Opening the show will be festival comics from across the country.
