La Doña is a solo artist, music educator, and activist from San Francisco, blending Latinx traditions like corrido, bolero, and cumbia with contemporary sounds such as reggaeton and hip-hop. Raised in a family conjunto, she began her musical journey at age seven and now uses her art to promote collective healing and social action. La Doña’s live performances are vibrant and rooted in community mobilization. Her EPs Algo Nuevo and Can’t Eat Clout have been critically acclaimed, and she’s performed at major festivals like Lollapalooza. Her debut album is set to release in Summer 2024.
